Water Color Workshop
An introduction to basic watercolor techniques will be presented by Salem water color artist Laura Wemhoener. Participants are asked to bring a photograph of what they would like to paint. It might be of a landscape, a riverscape, a sunset, or their favorite animal or person. Each participant will be guided in making a light sketch and walked through the use of watercolor techniques to bring the sketch to life. Participants should bring their picture, two cups to hold water (one diluting colors,one for washing out brushes),and a handheld hair dryer (if you don’t have one,we can share!). All other materials will be provided. The cost is $25 per person and reservations can be made by stopping in at the Ozark Natural and Cultural Resource Center (729-0029) and paying the fee to hold your spot or calling 247-0279 for other arrangements
